This two-step knife sharpening tool is designed with coarse carbide blades as well as fine ceramic rods to provide complete knife conditioning and maintenance. The stages can be used on their own or after one another for versatility. Stage one sharpens and redefines proper blade angle on dull knives, and is not recommended for serrated blades. Stage two finishes and polishes blade edges, and is recommended for maintaining already sharp or serrated knives. The non-slip angled base with v-shaped, rubberized footing grips onto countertops for added stability while sharpening knives. This knife sharpener measures 6.75" x 3.5" x 2" for convenient storage in cutlery or utensil drawers when not in use.
